I suspect that if you and your homeys were all from outer space; from somewhere near a far-away galaxy the size of a pin-head. And if you were observing us here on earth to see how we tick, I think it goes without saying that you would be using Google a lot. (And wondering why they would name this Oracle after your first girlfriend.) And you would pay particular attention to that most remarkable of tools for the uncovering of global priorities, Google Trends.

It seems a reasonable thing to me to believe that world hunger should tear at our hearts until it is no more.
- The case to fight Global Warming is driven by fear and guilt.
- The case to fight World Hunger is driven by love alone.
- Fear sells.
- Love gives.
- Perfect love casts out fear.
It seems a reasonable thing to me to believe that the Internet could be used to end world hunger.

The graph below shows the current trend, with World Hunger searches extremely low, comparatively.

So for starters, let’s try and lift the numbers for World Hunger.
All you need to do is google “world hunger” a little more often than you currently do. That’s it!
In a month we can see if there has been a change by checking on Google Trends again.
Now that is just one idea. And so here is a challenge….
What other ways could we use the Internet to end World Hunger?
I’m sure there are experts in black art of SEO that may have some good ideas. And we have mathematicians to model models and predict probabilities. And geeks to code simulations, feeds, lateral thinkers, … and people in general.
There are so many of us, and the Internet connects us all, and instantly. Would you care to have a go (a simultaneous go) at ending this achievable end. The raw materials (food and money) just need to be found and relocated.
